After graduating from MIZZOU in 1988, I began my financial services career with a major Wall Street firm and left in 1992 to start my own boutique financial planning firm to remove conflicts of interest and to give my clients more access to solutions that was required for their ultimate financial success. Even though I had been a small business owner at an early age, choosing to start my own firm was a sacrifice due to the overly expansive responsibilities of a financial advisor, but felt that it was more important to represent my clients in a truly independent capacity. To align myself best to serve clients, I passed the series 65 in January of 2000, to be professionally licensed as a fiduciary for my clients. In my effort to increase my knowledge base to support my clients, I have attained the following professional designations: RICP® CLU®, ChFC®, MRFC®. I believe that money is only as good as what it brings to one’s long-term happiness which is defined uniquely by the individual, family, or business. I believe that my role goes beyond managing client’s money, but to also help them identify, define, and achieve their deepest goals relating to money in addition to their overall life goals.
